Fraser Coast Community Radio can accept Volunteers who need to volunteer to meet their Centrelink obligations.
Volunteers are required to hold a current Blue Card and hold current Financial Membership of Fraser Coast FM 107.5.
Background checks are conducted to ensure a safe working environment for all of our volunteers.
Volunteers are required to contribute at least 6 hours per week at the station premises.
A probation period of 6 months applies.

Our application process does take a few weeks. This is to ensure that we are the right fit for you and vice versa. It will help us to work with you to identify whether we have a role available to best match for your skill sets or goals.
Every volunteer is expected to participate in training. Even if you are experienced in the broadcasting industry, you will need to learn the ropes of how we operate at Fraser Coast FM 107.5.

- Off Air Assistant – Telephone support for Presenters and various office duties.
- Office administration – sound organisational skills and intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills required, incuding Outlook, Word, Excel and Data entry.
- On Air Radio Presenter. Subject to Management approval after 6 months probationary period. On site training will be provided. A training fee is payable by the volunteer.

Be part of the Fraser Coast FM 107.5 team. Here’s how!
Step 1: Complete the Volunteer Expression of Interest (below) and download the attached documents. Alternatively, you can pop into the station to fill in the form (Monday-Thursday 9am-12pm).
Step 2: Once we have received your Expression of Interest and Health Declaration, a member of our Administration Team will contact you to arrange an appointment for interview. During the interview, be prepared to discuss your past experience, your goals and and if successful, how you could contribute to our team.
Step 3: Applications are considered at the monthly Management Meeting subsequent to your interview You will be advised within a week of the Management Meeting.
Step 4: On acceptance, you will be required to join the station as a financial Member and apply for a Blue Card (Volunteer status). The Blue Card is at no cost to you and can be applied for at the Blue Card website. Once you have your Blue Card, contact us to advise your linking number.
Step 5: We will be in touch to arrange your onboarding training. This will generally take place over a two week period, usually on Monday or Thursday mornings at 10am. Allow up to two hours on site and a couple of hours for further at home work to familiarize yourself with the regulatory environment for Community Broadcasting.
