How do I become a Member of Fraser Coast FM 107.5?

Go to our Membership Page and complete the online application form or pop in to the station at 30 Halcro Street, Point Vernon between 9:00am and 12:00pm Monday to Friday to pick up a Membership form.

Can I become a Radio Presenter?

Members of the community are welcome to submit a Volunteer Application. All of our presenters are unpaid volunteers. Training will be provided to all potential volunteers and Presenter Training is conducted on site at the station.

How do I become a volunteer at the station?

Go to the Volunteer page and complete the expression of interest form. Volunteers are required to be financial members of the station and must hold a current Blue Card. Volunteer positions may or may not be available at the time of your application and volunteer applications are put to the Management Committee for consideration. Our Volunteer Co-ordinator will contact you to discuss your application.

When are Membership Fees due?

Membership fees are due on 1 July each year. If you join after 1 April, your membership will apply until 30 June in the following year.

How do I pay my Membership Fee?

You can choose to pay your membership fee by direct deposit to our bank account, or by cash or cheque at the station located at 30 Halcro St, Point Vernon between 9:00 and 12:00 on weekdays or by completing the Membership form – select update.

How do we promote our Not For Profit Organisation?

Can I leave a Bequest to Fraser Coast FM 107.5?

Absolutely. You can specify a bequest in your will – you would need to specify Fraser Coast Community Radio Inc. We recommend that you always discuss any intention to leave a bequest with your legal advisor and family.

Are Donations tax deductible?

No. Fraser Coast Community Radio Inc, although a registered charity does not have tax deductible status.

Do you do Outside Broadcasts?

Yes, we do. To arrange an outside broadcast, please use the Outside Broadcast form below or contact us at the station during business hours 9:00am to 12:00pm Monday – Friday.

How do I request a song?

Just call the station on 07 4128 1079 and if we can find your request on our music list, we will endeavour to play it for you during the program, time permitting.

How do I request airplay for my music?

As long as your music meets community broadcasting and station standards, is professionally produced and available in MP3 format or available on AMRAP, we are happy to consider requests for airplay. Simply email us at [email protected] with your link and release date. Please include a genre classification and brief bio.

Can I request an interview with one of your Presenters?

Provided the subject matter is of community interest, complies with regulations and is not a business promotion, you can request an interview by contacting us. Please include details of the subject matter, a draft script if you have prepared one and include the words “Interview Request” in the heading of your email.
